It would be helpful to know how many people to plan for, and the approximate ages of children and youth attending. You are able to sign up in person on ‘Sunday mornings through June 28, 2024 or you can call the church office at 760-745-3738 and let Carolina know you plan to attend. We plan to provide pizza and have tables set up outdoors for folks that would like to come and have supper together from 5:30-6:00. People are welcome to bring in their own food, or partake of the pizza and beverages provided. Our goal is to make it a little easier for families and members to participate and enjoy a relaxed time together.
Who can participate in the music?
We will have an optional but come-if-you-like rehearsal each Friday evening from 5:00-5;30. We will rehearse the songs, and have various Orff instruments available to help out with the accompaniment. We have a love set of barred instruments that belong to the church, and it will be fun to create arrangements together for each evenings song, which will be sung during the opening and closing sessions later that evening. Folks are welcome to come to one or all rehearsals, no experience required.
Am I able to volunteer? What kind of volunteers do you need?
Yes, we will need lots of volunteer help to make these Friday evenings fun and meaningful. It is possible to sign up for various positions during our Sunday morning services as this time.
